I bought an alarm clock but I don’t like the face. I’m thinking about replacing it.
The clock is 10cm in diameter. The hands in the image are a close approximation of what the clock has. The outer black border represents the clock’s frame which sits above the face so shadows or viewing the clock from an angle can obscure the margin area outside the tick-marks.
I kinda want to put something over near 8 or 9, but what? Would the face be too cluttered, or should that big empty space be filled?
Some kind of text in a circle outside the tick marks?
Any feedback is appreciated. Links to weird/modern clock designs are also appreciated. I’m not opposed to abandoning this completely if something better comes along. In fact, since the hands have large white stripes on them (that are supposed to glow in the dark but only break up the hand’s shape like some kind of sick camouflage), I might make a dark-themed face to bring out the white in the hands.
